Error codes may only appear on the display briefly. If you experience an issue, safely glance at the display to see if there is an error code. If the information below does not resolve the issue, please contact Ride1Up Support.

| 4 | The throttle is not in neutral position | The throttle is stuck open or is faulty | Check the cable connection and verify the throttle is in the neutral position |
| 5 | Throttle malfunction | The throttle is not functioning | Check the cable connection and verify the throttle is in the neutral position |
| 7 | Over-voltage protection | A sensor is reading too high a voltage or is faulty | Check cadence sensor and throttle |
| 8 | Motor Hall cable malfunction | The motor cable may be damaged or loose | Check if the motor cable is damaged or loose; disconnect and reconnect |
| 9 | Motor Phase cable malfunction | The motor cable may be damaged or loose | Check if the motor cable is damaged or loose; disconnect and reconnect |
| 10 | Motor temperature too high | The motor is overheating | Power off the display, allow the motor to cool, then resume riding |
| 11 | Motor temperature sensor malfunction | Failed motor temperature sensor | Motor replacement needed |
| 12 | Current sensor malfunction | Current sensor malfunction | Inspect controller cables |
| 13 | Battery temperature too high | The battery is overheating; BMS will cut power to prevent damage | Turn off the battery, allow it to cool, then resume riding |
| 14 | Controller temperature too high | The internal controller is overheating | Inspect controller connections and allow the bike to cool |
| 15 | Controller temperature sensor malfunction | Controller temperature sensor not working | Inspect controller connections; replace the controller if needed |
| 21 | Speed sensor malfunction | The motor speed sensor is not working | Check the rear wheel connection |
| 23 | Headlight malfunction | The headlight is not functioning | Check headlight connections |
| 24 | Headlight sensor malfunction | The headlight sensor is not functioning | Check headlight connection |
| 25 | Brake sensor malfunction | The brake sensor needs adjustment | Disconnect the brake shutoff wires one at a time to isolate the issue; adjust or replace as needed |
| 26 | Speed sensor signal malfunction | The speed sensor is disconnected or faulty | Check motor wiring or replace motor |
| 30 | Communication error | Communication issue between display and controller | Check display and controller connections |
| 39 | Controller fault | Internal fault in controller | Replace motor controller |
